The new Kinematics LP Lo-Pro (Low Profile) series hourglass worm slewing drives were designed to be lower profile and to reduce the amount of material over 10% compared to our standard SE or KE series slewing drives. Lower overall weight aids OEMs in their efforts to reach their gross vehicle weight (GVW) goals, increasing payload and boom reach.

Kinematics slew drives are powered with patented hourglass worm technology to give increased efficiency and accuracy. Unlike standard worms which touch only one tooth, our hourglass worm engages 5 to 11 teeth on the pitch line of the ring gear from the hourglass thread.
