Kinematics takes quality control very seriously and has a strict quality control manual that governs every process within the organization.
From customer communication and sales order creation to manufacturing, processing and shipping, quality is monitored closely at every turn.
Once a contract is approved by our sales and customer engineering managers, it moves on to our manufacturing engineering department for review of the manufacturing bill of materials. Next, the sales, customer engineering, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing, quality control and process engineering departments conduct a design review. During this meeting the department heads go over every aspect of the contract to confirm it meets the needs of the customer and can be met by Kinematics. After everyone signs off on the contract, the job moves into manufacturing.
Throughout manufacturing, we track every step of each material as it travels through our plant. This ensures that we have a solid manufacturing record for the final assembly. If at any time the materials do not meet the requirements, they are rejected. The next step in our quality control process records the last data and approves that the assembly may be serialized for final shipment. In final shipping, quality control signs off that all documents of the final assembly serial code are approved and recorded.
Kinematics Manufacturing is ISO 9001:2000 certified with quarterly audits by AQA International of Columbia, SC, USA.
