Ken Barry, CEO

Ken Barry
CEO

Ken Barry was appointed Chief Executive Officer in October 2011. Previous to this appointment, Ken collaborated with leading private equity and venture capital firms following an impressive career with Oerlikon AG in Pfäffikon, Switzerland, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and a member of the executive board. Among other company positions, Ken also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Materials Research Corporation, a division of Sony Corporation of America, where he ultimately directed and managed the sale of that company to Praxair, Inc.

Ken is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA, and the Kellogg School of Executive Management at Northwestern University. Additionally, he completed graduate coursework at Drake University, the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and Johns Hopkins University.

Ken and his wife, Sandra, are "empty nesters" residing in Scottsdale, AZ. Together, they have successfully raised four sons.

 
Brent Morgan, Founder

Brent Morgan founded Kinematics Manufacturing, Inc., in 1996. Brent is an accomplished gearbox design engineer with a concentration in low speed, high torque applications. In the early years, Brent worked as sole proprietor of Kinematics while working on his graduate degree. Today, the company employs 500+ employees and is the largest slewing drive manufacturing company in the world.

Brent has a bachelor's in mechanical engineering from Washington State University and an MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Brent has assembled a robust team and with their leadership, the company continues to gain market share and recognition around the world in the slew drive industry.

In his "spare" time, Brent enjoys competitive biking in his native Western United States.

 
Glenn Hines, CFO

Glenn Hines
CFO

Glenn Hines has more than 20 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer with growing privately- and publicly-owned manufacturing companies around the globe. In previous roles, Glenn partnered with CEOs and helped grow revenue by more than 300 percent over a 5-year period. He has expertise in leading cost reduction programs, inventory/treasury management, improving cost accounting systems and company profitability, and implementing lean accounting and ERP systems.

Glenn has a bachelor's degree in finance from Arizona State University and a master's in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.

Glenn is an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoys the challenges of desert trail hiking.
